Get a pedicure, a manicure or a massage. Try it once a month. Even if its for 30 min. Your body will thank you later.
Book Some Time In For Yourself
Do whatever you have to do work some time in for yourself. If that means scheduling it in between soccer games or on a Sat or Sun afternoon, do it. Also, turn off the phone.
Everyone has dreams and goals. So what better way to keep track of them than with a journal. Even if its for 5 or 10 minutes. It’s a way to clear your head and write the events of day down.
Stick to the Plan
If something comes up that isn’t crucial, but it interferes with your well-being. Just say no. It cam wait. The more you keep to a plan, the better you and everyone around you will feel. Stick up for yourself. You deserve it.
Stretch It Out
If you have a 30 to 45 minutes, go for a run. You don’t have that much time, take five minutes from your day and simply get up and stretch. Relax your mind and body from the work day. If you can’t stretch, simply stay quiet.
Jump in the car and head to your favorite mall and have a blast running up your credit cards. Whether it’s new clothes, shoes or thing for the kitchen, you will enjoy this time by yourself without having to worry about anyone else.
Take Yourself on a Romantic Dinner
Who says you can’t be alone to have a romantic dinner? It may feel awkward at first but pretty soon you’ll realize that you deserve it. There you are, all dressed up and eating a fancy meal. What no better way to spoil yourself. To make it even more interesting, try to choose a foreign restaurant to give you that feel of being a tourist on vacation. And best of all, order something you love and savor every minute of it.
